On A Little Street In Singapore.
Ringing the doorbell of an elegant brothel, thinking of God and Arioch ....

Dear khmerhit,
Just in case that date is not etched forever in our collective memory:
October 12, 1997
I was in the Rocky Mountains, getting high (but not on drugs - don't do that bad stuff no more).
Regards,
John
P.S. OK, OK, I lied - I was in Riyadh, NOT getting high in any way shape or form. But I couldn't resist. |

I don't recall it, but since I was in college at the time I know I was in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
Some friends and I had a discussion about what events were significant enough in our minds that we could recall where we were and what we were doing when we found out, this one didn't make any lists. |

It wasn't a Cessna - it was a Rutan Vari-eze. |

No wonder he crashed, then... I'm only surprised it ever took off. |

I was at Disney World being yelled at my some middle-aged Housewife about how her husband is an important person on Wall Street so she shouldn't have to stand in line with the rest of the peons. At the moment I was thinking about taking a nosedive..... |

Thanks Aramas. It's awfully small. You d never get me up in one of them.
I was at a friends house in england several years ago when a glider came crashing into a field next the house. Luckily, the chap was ok. i helped him tocarry the wings out of the field. Later, at the pub, thre was a young kid from the Appalachian mountains who was part of the rescue party. funny old world..
oh,, where were we? |
