Anyone living in Mexico visited the large markets that have silver jewelry in Mexico City or Taxco? If so do they have sterling charms for bracelets or pendants? Any idea of cost?
Thanks |

I've visited the market in Taxco and there were charms and pendants, largely ones of a religious nature, but others as well. Some were sterling with the .925 stamp on the back, but some are made of Alpaca Silver. I was told that alpaca is harder than sterling so intricate shapes are better if made of alpaca, so if be sure to ask. People with a nickle allergy should not wear alpaca silver jewlery. |
