Quick question for posters: Do you think the following sentence is correct grammatically?

He is not capable to answer that.

I don't, yet I see it creeping in stealthily....grrr... peeve.

What say you?

Dear Sasha,

I'd use the gerund:

He's capable of answering that.

But if you fancy infinitives:

He's able to answer that.

By the way, what's the question? Very Happy

I am capable to drink vodka from bucket, and then able of eating carrot or pickle immediately after to chase.

Well, something to console you: we passed our educational inspection - with flying colours! (Apparently, one of the inspectors says she'll recommend that a relative of hers at university should travel all the way from the administrative capital to learn with us. I can't see it happening, but it was a nice sentiment.) Looks like like the power of our nasty rival doesn't extend as far as educational inspections.
