I am just wondering what is going on with them? They never answer a phone call, when you email they just tell you to complete the online profile, and when you complete their online profile it doesn't let apply for a job but just says they'll contact. I am qualified and have worked in the GCC but it seems they are another irrelevant recruiter with bad contact ability.

As is typical in the Gulf, if you don't meet their particular criteria, they won't bother to respond. I suspect that with the number of applicants that they have, they only respond to those that they are interested in hiring. So, you just need to move on to the next position.

BTW... Teachaway is one of the better recruiters. But, if you have experience with the GCC, you should know the drill.

I am not the only one, the FB page has numerous situations and a person had posted here but removed it they were treated the same way and had teaching experience and qualifications.

I expect the competition for jobs is high this year, and it's likely that they are only getting back to the top-flight candidates.

I would expect that there are hundreds of you who got no response if they weren't interested in hiring or interviewing you.

Welcome to the GCC. Don't call us we'll call you - and they can afford to behave this way with the wealth of applicants vying for positions at desirable employers.
