How would you rank them in order lifestyle wise.
Money wise. that is for a Uni job for someone with a
MA TESOL, part of a PhD ill finish it off in the next three years
5 years uni teaching in Japan EAP
1 year in Korea uni
3 years in Japan junior high school/high school
4 academic publications |

You do realize that all the same readers are on every board here in the ME section. Not to mention that "lifestyle" is a pretty meaningless question... as it depends on your age, marital status, sexual preference, need for booze, education for any kids if you have them, etc etc etc. All you can get are opinions that may be completely irrelevant to you.
The pay rank - generally - would be UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman. (there are outliers that one stumbles upon)
IMHO lifestyle would be Oman, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait. Speaking as a single straight female who doesn't drink, who taught there in her 40's and early 50s.

Money wise, boosting your years of experience by including your time teaching middle/high school in Japan is pointless---it's irrelevant in terms of qualifications required for a uni-level position. As such, that experience won't be factored into your pay. Ditto for a partially-completed doctorate degree. |

Okay I see your point, but its still better than:
3 years taxi driving its still semi-related experience
same with half a PhD its partially completed professional development, it think it will factor in the equation to a small degree. |
