Group!

I received this letter one day after applying -- I doesn't seem like a rejection letter and it doesn't seem like an offer. Yet it seems like both.
Can someone interpret it for me? Thanks Confused Confused Confused

Dear Sr.

Thank you very much for your interest of seeking for a teaching
position at China Jiliang University. I would let you know that the university sincerely expects to open a cooperation between us at a future time. Hope you every success with your efforts for teaching in China.

Sincerely,

think it's their way of saying, "we'll keep u resume on file, if something comes up, we'll let you know"(which in even simpler english means, "no")

hey, don't get discouraged, there are tons of job opp. out there. goto http://www.abroadchina.org/
tons of listed positions.

best of luck

Dera Sr.

it sounds like a very good contract [to my best expertise...] strong wording and great incentives.
They even talk about how they will "do you" in the future....

Are you OPEN to cooperate?

hey do not worry I had a poll about how big they are - and the EFL bragged about how big THEY are....!

Okay it's a no. I just wanted to be sure. I now know how to react -- do nothing.

Thanks

You also might want to do them a favour and write a standard refusal letter for them explaining that their Chinglish is very confusing. Start off with all due respect. They will either hate you or hire you.
I have done a lot of translation from Chinglish to English, my heads hurts afterwards.

Exactly, the same words (verbatim) responded to me in December.
