Has anyone seen any writing or research done on the development of the skill of using English and Chinese together in the class? The idea is to let students use as much English as possible and then allow them to use Chinese words or phrases to fill in the gaps. |

What pedagogic value do you think this idea would have? |

I've never had experience of a Chinese teacher assistant, but I've assumed their role is to clarify the task by explaining in Chinese.
Does that qualify? |
