Does anyone know if anything similar to summer camps for learning English in the UK operate over Christmas and if so where I might be able to find more information? Or, just in general, if it is possible to find temporary work as a (CELTA qualified with some experience) ESL teacher in London in December/January? Thanks. |

December/January is probably the worst time to be looking for EFL work of any description. Christmas is traditionally a time for families to gather rather then send the offspring away to learn English (much as one might want to after a few days ), while universities and colleges will probably have taken on everyone they'll need for the forthcoming academic year. Your only realistic chance is if maternity cover comes up or someone suddenly walks out of their job, and if the latter I'd want to know why... |
