|
|
Hello
So I was looking over the eligibility requirements for this program, on the website it says, applicants MUST have a bachelor's degree, which is fine, but then in brackets it says you MUST have 3 year degree "alternatively"
it sounds like they want you to have both a 4 year degree and a 3 year degree.
but I looked on the Jet Canada website and it says that applicants MAY have a 3 year degree
the difference between "must" and "may" are pretty big, so I am thinking that possibly they just worded the requirements in a confusing way on the Japanese website and they are really saying that you can have a 3 year certificate in teaching to SUBSTITUTE if you don't have a 4 year degree.
but I am not 100 percent sure.
Can anyone clear this up for me? |

I'm pretty sure they mean that you need to have a bachelor's degree. The confusion about 3 vs. 4 years is because a bachelor's degree is 3 years in some countries (e.g., UK), and 4 years in others (e.g., US). So, as long as you have a BA/BEd/BS/BSc or some other kind of bachelor's degree, then you meet that requirement. If it is a 3-year "certificate" rather than a "bachelor's degree", then it most likely won't be enough. |
