|
|
Hi all, can anyone advise if it's possible to have visitors stay with you for a few days in your apartment without incurring the wrath of your landlord/Aeon etc? Has anybody done so in the past? If you're in a Leopalace are these sort of things noticed or is a blind eye turned? If I were to come across to Japan I'd like to have a friend or two round on my time off and sleeping on the sofa would beat paying for a hotel. No rowdiness etc. |

I haven't worked for them but as long as they aren't living with you it should be fine. |

I'm in an Interac LP myself, but honestly, no one's going to notice or care so long as you mind your manners. Think about the kinds of people that rent LPs- single guys, factory workers, other gaijin... It's not like Mrs. Cratchet and her poodle is your neighbor. |

AEON don't have any blanket ban on visitors staying. I know several AEON employees who have had people stay for a couple of weeks or more, but none of them are in LP. There could possibly be restrictions by individual landlords I suppose, but I doubt it would be enforced unless you were being unreasonable (i.e. had essentially moved another person in with you). |

I agree.
kah5217,
Are you positive about our experience and what university are you at for this contract?
What university will you be going to for the next contract - that's assuming that you're returning to INTERAC. Are you happy with the way you were teated at the school(s) and company?
I'm trying to get a feel for what it might be like. |

Interac doesn't do universities. That's Westgate. I'm just at a middle school. Usually you can stay at the same place if you renew, unless the BOE reorganizes (school closings for example).
Regardless of what I have to say about them, at the end of the day you don't really work for Interac- they're the middleman. PM me if you want to know more, I'd be happy to share positives and negatives. |
