the rules always change. so it seems now i cannot leave the US without a return ticket. that's OK, but the all the tickets I come across are valid for 10 months. as you know, the average teaching positionin taiwan is/was 12 months. how do folks navigate around these disparate time limitations? buy the cheapest R/T and let the back endgo unused or fly to guam/hawaii/alaska and base the R/T from a shorter distance or other strategy? |

undecided. have looked at both. at this time it seems i am late in the tax cycle and should wait until the new calendar year.
once upon a time i took a job sight unseen from halfway around the world. it would be nice to check a place out first. |
