Hi,
I have been doing a lot of research recently as my partner and I are in the process of booking a TEFL course in Costa Rica. I understand from what has previously been discussed that we may need some extra money as the pay isn't great, that is fine. I just wondered roughly how much we should budget for this. To give you a little more info we would obviously share a place but would be open to living with another 3rd person too to keep costs down. We like the occasional meal out but happy to eat cheaply at home most of the time. We would like to travel to the coast sometimes in our time off but aren't really big drinkers or spenders in any other way.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most ESL teachers make around $800/month and live pretty well. Basically try to figure out how many months you will have here before you get your first pay check (better to error on the side of caution) and multiply by $800. |
