Would love to hear from anyone having lived in Haikou and what the pros and cons are. Would also like to hear any thoughts on students, class size, etc...

I read earlier posts on Happy Town and found them interesting, but not sure where that was even located.

Have you see their employment contract yet? Apart from a below-average salary, HMU requires foreign teachers to pay for their medical reports and their Foreign Residence Permit (the university does pay for the Foreign Experts Certificate).
