I am journalist working for an internationally known education news publication seeking personal accounts of racism, bigotry and mistreatment in Middle East international schools, especially in the UAE.

In the wake of the Dorje Gurung firing and imprisonment in May this issue has become headline news from the Washington Post to Doha News.

This is a human-interest piece will feature personal accounts (ie, yours) and determine if the climate toward foreigners is keeping teachers and administrators away from accepting jobs in the Middle East, or doing their jobs effectively once they get there.
