I'm living in Canada and want to teach English in Japan or somewhere in Asia. My fiancee is Kyrgiz, has a Ph.D. and is currently a director of an educational institution in Bishkek, where she's also been teaching.
The two of us would like to find a place where I can teach English and where her qualifications would also get her a decent job.
Any ideas? |

Sorry, nothing concrete. There is a fair-sized Russian community in Tokyo. Perhaps your fiancee could contact them and find out more. I don't think there is a huge demand for Russian and she would probably have to speak Japanese to get a job in a university here, but there are opportunities. I seem to remember a Russian cultural center in Ochanomizu (part of Tokyo) where Russian may be taught.

Good luck
