| Is there anyone kind, or knowledgeable, enough to give me an address or a name of a good cheap gym in Doha, Sana? I can't afford the hotel prices and I would need free weights anyway. |

Found one and am happy with it - Qatar Sports, just around the corner from me. It is 350 Qatari Riyal for a month. It is my understanding that, while it is a 100 dollars a month, this is on the budget end of the scene as some go for about a 1000 dollars a month or more.
This is just a gym with no pool or anything but is fully equipped with everything one would need. The only downside is when lifting heavy, over 150kg+ the weights on the bar are not stable and the locks cannot keep them in place - Deadlifting could be dangerous. Other than that is is quite good and is kept clean.
A lot of local guys walking around like a puffed up balloon but friendly enough. |
