I can't seem to find what is involved in going from a Z visa to an X1. Would anybody know that one?
The thing I dread is being told I have to go all the way back to the US and apply from there, which I don't think i can do in the time I have. |

| Ask the school where you're going to study. Tell them you have a residence permit (not a Z visa) and you need a student visa. |

As I understand it .... you cannot change in country and have to go to HK or home to change....
The process may be RP to L then to X1... |
