just wanted to know some opinions in regards to living and teaching in Vietnam vs Taiwan. Which country is more libereal,safe, etc.

I can only opine on Taiwan. Its generally very safe. I've had two bicycles stolen but that's it! I've seen one fight on the street which I stopped!(which is something I would never try to do in my own country (which I guess tells you how safe it is here)).
As for being liberal ... yes and no! My students seem to live with and be in fear of their parents until they get married and leave. But generally I am most welcomed! |
