Probably moving to Shanghai w my Chinese gf early next year following three years teaching English across Guangzhou and Sydney (I'm Australian).
Salaries in Shanghai aren't much higher than GZ, but I know the cost of living is MUCH higher in SH.
I have all of the ESL qualifications you need (short of a DELTA/Trinity Dip.) and am an IELTS Speaking/Writing examiner.
There's money in SH but not in any of the job ads I've read here or on TEFL.com or echinacities.
Is it possible to make good money teaching there? |

Get some private students to supplement your salary. |

In direct answer to the question, it is difficult unless you are a subject teacher at an international school. |
