All you have to do is Google "Japan English school list".
Also, there are thousands of locations, where do you want to be specifically? |
I don't mean to sound silly but I'm open as far as location.
But, I can say I would prefer large cities or suburban areas more than 30 minutes away from large cities.
Far out of the way places would be at the bottom of my list. |

No, it's not silly, it's understandable. When you have a preference it helps narrow it down and suggestions can be more specific.
I'll just speak for you and say that a large city is one with over a million residents.
Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, Kobe, Kyoto, Fukuoka, Kawasaki, Saitama, Hiroshima, and Sendai. These cities make up seven metropolitan areas.
Depending on the type of company you'd be willing to work for would determine the chance of you getting placed or finding a job in or around one of these cities.
ECC, Aeon/Amity, Peppy Kids Club, Nova/Jibun Mirai are eikaiwas that hire from overseas and are fairly easy to get a job with. Interac is another option and is an ALT dispatch company that is all over Japan, but instead of private companies you'd be working in public schools.
There are plenty more eikaiwas and dispatch companies that you can work for, but I posted the most typical ones. And, with the exception of Nova, they are usually deemed okay.
You can find their job listings on their websites, here on eslcafe, or other websites.
I also wouldn't worry about your age, and your experience puts you ahead of 90%+ of applicants. |
