Sexy
French-Canadian students LOVE this word, and use it inappropriately all the time. They treat it as a very casual adjective.
"Dude, your shoes are very sexy!" |

Hmm. Is this kinda a 'pet peeves' list for student expressions?
If yes, cool.
There exists.....

In other words.....
On the other hand...... |

Introducing ideas are an important skill, however. However you look at it, students will need to know how to do it properly, however they choose to. It should be noted, however, that certain words can be used incorrectly (and too frequently), however cool it actually looks! |

Moreover. That is a useful word. Moreover, it is useful too, moreover. So use useful, to describe things that are useful, and, moreover, things that are not. |

I always hate it when I get a topic reply notification and it's an emoticon, but I thought this was appropriate. |

Phrase (I have heard it exclusively and with great frequency from Koreans) .... do you know....?
As in: "I love to go to Jeju Iceland for my holidays. Do you know Jeju Iceland?

Do you know, that's useful to know. Moreover, I have many positive emotions, which is useful too. Moreover, I think that it is more useful to say Jeju Izland. Do you know? |

I do not know Jeju Iceland, therefore can only report what I hear. I have no power to change the pronunciation of the phrase. I am not their teacher (VERY positive emotion here). |
