|

Hi, I've been here 6 months and want to buy my wife a nice (genuine) smartphone for her birthday. Will stay for remainder of contract 1 1/2 years then either go back to USA or on to Middle East. Basically, I need a smartphone that can be used in any of these places. Should I buy from back home (like an unlocked phone from Best Buy) or buy one here in Thailand? I have seen some posts where folks say that some phones are restricted and don't work all over.
I'm not interested in merely buying one that will work in Thailand, then selling it upon departure.
Any advice would be appreciated. |

Hi there,
Just go to Pantip Plaza in central Bangkok for smartphones you will find what you're looking for at the right price and it will work anywhere in the world. Good luck! |
