| Hello everyone, looking to see what the average pay is like for a full time employee at a SAT/GRE/TOEFL Training School in Beijing. Base + Hr/Commission? Do these type of schools generally offer housing/air fare in the contract? |

Depends on the workload, 10,000 with housing might require 25 classes or more with some office time. Airfare is low for any job and you usually can't get it until you finish the contract period.
The same kind of housing is difficult to get in Beijing because it is so expensive. Schools try to find cheap ways around it like having shared housing or putting you in a smaller apartment which doesn't have as much as an apartment in different province.
If you are going to accept shared housing you might as well find it yourself and negotiate a housing allowance. Otherwise, accept what they give after visiting the school. If you can't visit the school I suggest not gambling. |
