Hi all,

I have a pre-interview question I'm really stuck on. I admit it's been a while since I did my CELTA and I've forgotten most of the jargon. Can anyone give me some suggestions for the following question?
Quote:

In a sample class, you are using a dialogue to teach clarification language. For example, Can you repeat that? Please create a four line A/B dialogue that you might use in such a lesson.

Many thanks!

Q: I have a pre-interview question.
A: Sorry, I don't understand.
Q: It is a screening process prior to interview for a job.
A: Can you tell me a bit more?

Sasha: Do you mean to say that this is an example of clarification, Cole?
Cole: Yes, that is exactly what I mean.
Sasha: OK, so let me get this straight - just asking questions to check that you've understood something uses clarification language. Is that right?
Cole: Yes, that's it. Got it in one. You could even throw in some cunning reformulation strategies into the mix, just to be a clever-clogs.
