| Hello friends! I'm casting a wide net on my job hunt. I know Brazil's economy isn't the greatest, but I imagine that there are still universities operating and there are still language programs at these universities. Would anyone know of any university openings for English teachers at Brazilian universities for this upcoming academic term? I have an MA TESOL and six years of teaching experience in the field. Thank you very much! |

I would cast my net far from Brazil if I were you. It's just not the time to be here. I'm a permanent resident and Im doing OK, but really, it's a struggle. I've never heard of any foreigners teaching at university language programs. I don't think any of the universities sponsor overseas English teachers or hire illegally, like the low, low, low paying chain schools do. But I do know foreigners who teach university students as private students.
Why Brazil? if I might ask. |
