"Kerry said that the U.S. does not support efforts by any state to apply procedures of an air defense identification zone to foreign aircraft not intending to enter its national airspace. He said the U.S. does not apply its air defense identification zone procedures to foreign aircraft that do not intend to enter U.S. airspace."
Really??? I find this hard to believe. My guess is that the Russians also don't allow planes to fly around their airspace without identifying themselves.
Regarding the article, I doubt Beijing cares about Japan's response. Japan needs China more that China needs Japan I think.
Japan is on the decline economically. Therefore, it will have less and less influence in the world as time passes.
The U.S. desperately needs China to keep its economy afloat.
China is holding all the cards here. |

China is proceeding to make all their neighbors wary of them. This is exactly how not to operate a foreign policy. |

China with its evil partner North Korea (which has the 2nd largest military in the world after China) pose a threat to the region so fierce that no one can match them.
And nuking China will spell the end of the world.
What to do? |
