Hey everyone, hope you're having interesting TEFL adventures out there and learning lots about the world. Smile

I'm looking for a good place to connect with private students in the Middle East. I'm wondering if there's a MidEast version of Craigslist--a site where most people would go to look for a private English tutor? Or would they just use Craigslist for that?

Thank you so much! Very Happy I really appreciate your help and time.

Since you've posted this same question in other country forums on this site, I suggest you do an Internet search on expat [name of country] forum. There are quite a few popular country-specific expat forums with members representing many nationalities. Moreover, there's usually a section for classified ads.

Frankly, I'd guess that many learners would be interested in face-to-face tuition, especially if they don't have access to high-speed internet.

I think the intent here is to do it long distance via the internet. I suspect that there isn't a big market for this sort of a system in the Gulf. And I agree with Scot that getting payment would be an issue.

Good luck getting paid.

Even with face to face students, money first, tutorial follows.
