Can anyone help me to understand whether this is something that should be of concern? It is listed on the last page of the Appendix.

The payment will be arranged to the financial regulations of Party A

Thanks

Context! Context! Context!

In what context has the statement been made?

What is the paragraph / contract clause directly above the sentence?

Cheers

After the list of things I get in the Appendix (1.pay, 2. housing...etc.) there's the statement (The payment will be arranged to the financial regulations of Party A) set alone after a blank area of several lines below the last one #10 about pay for extra teaching hours. That clear it up at all? Afraid it's the best I can do. Have been in China 2 years and haven't run across that line yet. Thanks

Don't accept it. A contract should be specific for the benefit of both parties. This sounds very unspecific and for one party's benefit ...... Party A.

If in doubt ...don't

You are worried about that??? Shocked
It means they will pay you according to their accounting and office procedures.

Please have a Bex and a good lie down.

Yeah, it seems like it is only that you get paid based on the schools financial regulations: a certain date in a certain manner (maybe all RMB, perhaps a % in your country's currency - - - whatever has been agreed upon in your contract). Maybe it refers to holiday pay as well or bonus pay or . . . ??? If you are too concerned, just ask and have them clarify this point. I'm guessing this one thing is no big deal, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I would have to postulate that there may not be "a blank area of several lines" on all copies of that 'contract'.

Hey, Ace, why do you feel you have to weigh-in on every topic particularly when you have absolutely nothing of value to add?

You should see a doctor for your paranoia.
