This goes without saying, but I urge anyone applying for a job in this industry to ask to speak to someone in post before they accept an offer.
Language Solutions currently have several teachers holed up in Zawia, Libya. A quick glance at the Libya Herald online will initiate those who don't know to the risk of working there right now. Language Solutions have recently cancelled the drivers who take the teachers to and from work. They also have them in a villa by themselves, with no security whatsoever in the middle of the town. This is totally unacceptable in a country which the FCO tells British nationals not to go to, due to risk of kidnap.
We should 'out' such employers and form a Dave's blacklist. |
