|
|
Hello, I searched the other threads for answers, but found no answer to put my mind to rest on this.
My Criminal Background Check is just a COPY. It is not the original. It is in date, but it is merely a copy of the original one.
How likely is it that I'll still set a visa with this document. Orchestrating a new CBC is a massive pain whilst out in Asia
Thank You Very Much,
James |

If you've been here 6 months, I believe you can use a local police check, crazy as it sounds. I've never done this myself though. |

Getting your visa doesn't have much to do with a criminal background check... It's the work permit that requires one. As for the copy... my gut reaction is that it wouldn't be enough. Vietnam loves to see the red stamps. But I'm not sure about it. |

Be careful with this stuff. The second place I worked at and while I was still new to Hanoi, the school accidently 'lost' my notarised copies of degrees, my original criminal background check etc.
You could try a copy but I think they'd want an original. That is if they are legit. After 6 months you can get one from Vietnam anyway. |
