I decided I want to move to Turkey as the next place in my ESL career. I have 2 years teaching experience and CELTA and am wondering if I will have trouble finding a position or not.

Istanbul and Izmir are very appealing but are there other cities that might be easier to come by a job?

I am planning on moving there withing the next 2 weeks!

No, you won't have any trouble finding work. Just make sure you have a clear idea of what the average pay and how much you would like to make.

Personally I think that may be a tad premature, yes you will find work, but generally low paid and not the best working conditions. unless you have had a offer or been granted an interview ıIwould advice you to wait until the turn of the year, so stay home for xmas. Term time tend to see a few (sometimes more than a few) vacancies appear, that would be your optimum time, gives you a bit more time to get funds together and scour the net for possible openings, that way you should make more efefctive use of our time.
come with an open mind and don't just accept the first thing you get offered, DO NOT be afraid to negociate your wage and ask for anything and everything that you want. If possible make contacts so you at least has someone who knows a bit about the city you are gonna try .
