What would be the best country in which to teach privates?
To my mind, this would be a place where it is easy to get a residence or long-term visa, where students are willing and able to pay, where students are motivated and show up, etc. Alternatively, who is doing privates and having a good time of it?
In my case, MATESOL, experienced in learning disabilities (helps because many people are undiagnosed and that's why they seek private lessons). |

It's unclear if you're looking for private work as your sole source of income versus working a full-time TEFL position while tutoring on the side. |

Thanks for writing, Nomad. I first wrote all the details but it was a little verbose
What's best for me are individual lessons and translations at home, esp English for the learning disabled. I've been honing my technique over a decade. I can't work fulltime. Anyplace that would lower my COL would be great, because in NAm it's not feasible. I speak several languages and open to more. |
