				| When I worked there about 4 years ago, we had to wear uniforms and be onsite 9 hours per day. However, new programs with the airforce and medical groups were beginning and those trainers were not required to wear uniforms. So I guess it depends on where you'd work.
Rattletrap, bullseye vans were our transport. I believe everyone has to live on the SANG compound (in high-rise shared housing), which is rather out of the way and very unattractive . . . .lots of old dilapidated buildings around.

Significantly, a definite positive is the management of at least the SANG officers program. When I was there, the management was less inclined to blame blame blame the teacher/trainer as is usual in KSA. As a result the officers I taught were more respectful and manageable.

				| I stopped working there a year ago.
Nobody is hired specifically for medical or aviation. They rotate the teachers out.

It is an excellent stepping stone, but it is the worst job among the military contractors.

Don't accept less than 6k per month. They'll try to offer you 4k. Hold out for 50% more.

In your opinion/experience, which jobs are better and why?

				| but instead what happens! I'm not going to go into details, but it is a lot of negatives that don't make the DECENT pay worth it. Not to mention the current housing situation. Please do not believe that you can 'hold out' for more money. ALL teachers receive the same pay. That doesn't include those who are teachers and may play a supervisory role! STAY AWAY. Maybe those who don't teach at the main location receive a little more, but there is no negotiating pay. Please ask 'elbows' to again state that teachers do not receive the same pay due to 'holding out'. Not trying to disrespect anyone in any manner, but that is simply not the truth unless something has changed recently.
There are better jobs out there and even lower paying jobs that provide more than just a bedroom and a bathroom along with a shared living room and kitchenette!!!!

You referred to the company as 'Northrop'. It is a subsidiary of Northrup, so don't think big dollars. As soon as you walk into your 'accommodation' you will regret having to stay a year to avoid an employment ban. Proceed with caution. Students are fine for the most part, but once you step out of that classroom, it is all negative including the compound!!!

Your original post mentioned the negatives that you have heard over the years. WELL THERE YOU GO. And the pay is decent, but posters, for the most part, still say to stay away. That should be all you need to hear.
