I need to get an apostilled copy of my Japanese criminal record check for a job in another country. I found this
http://www.keishicho.metro.tokyo.jp/foreign/apply/tokoue.htm
which explains how to get the criminal record certificate, it looks pretty straightforward.
But I'm struggling to find out how I get it apostilled in Tokyo, how much it's likely to cost, or how long it's going to take. Do I go through MOFA? Do I need to get a notary involved? Has anyone else done this before? |

Please be advised that if the applicant schedules an appointment and does not meet the Renewal criteria, the application will not be accepted and an appointment for the applicant to appear in person for an interview at the consulate will be scheduled. |
