I have been contacted by a man about an EFL job named Vico Heidemann, who claims to be the director of Inlingua Ferrara. After speaking with the real director of the school I have found that this is not the case.
This was the message I received from her;
"Unfortunately our inlingua language center in Italy has been exploited as part of a scamming scheme. A number of emails have been sent with false job offers (through the ESL employment site) purporting to be from our inlingua center.
This is a scam trying to trick people into submitting their passport details, diplomas etc. or even purchasing flight tickets or pay a fee for a work visa. The typical pattern of this scam is to "interview" candidates by Skype, but only by texting, not speaking. Our inlingua center concerned has already taken legal action on a local level"
The email he is using is [email protected]
and the Skype account he uses for 'interviews' is inlinguaferrara.
Hope they get caught soon. |
