Hi everyone! I've been browsing this site for a little while now (before I made an account) and have found a lot of great information. I'm currently in the final stages of finalizing my resume and cover letter for an application to ALTIA and I was wondering if I could possibly get some feedback on them? I've already gotten some feedback from multiple online sources as well as friends and the career center/writing center of my university.
However, that being said everyone I've talked to can only give me advice on technicalities (i.e., grammar, syntax, wording, etc.) and even the career center could only give me generic feedback since applying abroad is different than applying here in America. Therefore, I thought I'd try asking you guys here on ESL cafe. The atmosphere here seems pretty cool and I'm certain I could get some excellent insight as to the strengths and weaknesses of my resume if anyone is willing.
I won't post it in this message because it would probably format weird during the transition and it'll just take up unnecessary space, but I will send it in a private message to anyone who agrees to give me some advice. I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to read my request and I hope you all have an awesome day! Thanks in advance! |

I'd be glad to take a look, though I think you need 5 posts to send a pm. |
