|
|
On their website, all of AEON's recruiting seems to be done from overseas. Is this correct, and if so, why?
I emailed the Tokyo recruitment office stating that I am living in Japan, and asked what I should do to apply from here. The gracious riposte was an email saying that all the recruitment information is on the website, and 'please review it carefully'. That leads me doubt my first-time-viewing capabilities, rather disconcerting.
No discourteous replies please - feeling chilly from a lack warm regards here.
Warm regards,

One of the best ways to get a bad response on the internet is to tell people to give you a good one.
Yes, Aeon does recruit from inside of Japan. Just go to their webpage. |

I should have stated 'full-time' work. The website only shows recruitment in Japan for the part-time corporate division.
The main recruitment information states:
'AEON is actively recruiting in the USA, Canada, UK and Australia. Below are the dates and locations for upcoming recruiting sessions. Please submit your application by clicking your desired interview location.'
No Japan option. Seems strange for people already living and working here.
And there's nothing wrong with requesting a courteous reply from fellow peers. It was a genuine question (though I didn't mention enough detail). This is not directed at you, Rooster, per se, but the forums here are littered with arrogant comments from pretentious people. That's just an unfortunate fact of cyberspace. |

From the website (under "Recruiting Offices")
E-Mail (candidates in Japan): [email protected]
or you can select "Already in Japan" as your available date of departure on any of the application forms.
Although it doesn't make it clear on the site, AEON do recruit branch teachers from within Japan. |

Sorry, just saw that you have already emailed them. I guess the application forms would be the next step. |
