				| Does anyone know if you can still claim ancestry in Spain. And if so how far back can you?
 Thanks for any info.

				| It's definitely possible because I have a friend who did this recently. One parent was born in Spain and it took awhile but my friend ultimately got a passport. | |

				| It is possible, but the circumstances are limited. Naturally, if one of your parents was Spanish, or you were adopted, but that is it. No grandparents, etc, like in some places. My paternal grandfather was Spanish, so I looked into it, and it was a no go. He lived most of his life in Mexico and my father was born in Mexico, so that was the end of it. | |
