I'm from Calgary and am stuck on the last part of my single-entry visitor visa application. It says that the photo requirements are 2 identical color 2" x 1.5" passport sized photos. This contradicts itself in that our passport photos are not those dimensions. Where did you get your photos taken and how?

Thanks!
Dan

hey p0et. It's no biggie...just go to any photo shop that says it does passport photos (larger dimension than you mentioned) and when you hand them in to the TECO office they'll crop them to the size they want.
Side note: when you get your photos call around to a few places and say that you want a bunch of passport photos and ask them how many they can take off of one negative. Some studios don't use a "passport camera" for the shots so you'll be able to get lots of copies for cheap. I got 24 for $15 I think (Vancouver though). Trust me...those little pics'll come in handy for all the paperwork stuff. I just used my last one and I've been here a little over a year. Hope it helps and good luck!

im at the visa application portion of my trip as well.
can anyone tell me for real if i go to taiwan with a single entry visitor visa, is 60 days enough time to find a job AND get an ARC/resident visa?
the visa people in toronto are scaring me into thinking i will be stuck in hong kong. is it always a bad idea to sign a contract before i go??
i leave august 2nd, so if i do sign a contract, do i have enough time to get a resident visa before i go? i keep hearing that it takes 3 months. am i too late?
any information would be really appreciated!!!
thanks
