My husband is living in Italy and my child and I plan to join him when he can find affordable housing for the 3 of us. He is going to the University of Genoa and the staff are somewhat helpful, but are used to finding single housing with groups of other students. So we are having some problems.

Any information about where to look, a specific website that has proved helpful to you, or a direct contact would be much appreciated. Other general information might be helpful as well.

Our budget right now is low (600 euros or less) due to PhD scholarship wages, and I don't have a job there yet.
