I worked for them between 2008 and 2009. I had absolutely no problems working with them. They are about as well managed as you will find.
Their setup is a little complicated, basically they will send you to a school they have an agreement with. You technically work for emw and will get paid by emw. If you have a problem with the school, they are very good at working on that problem on your behalf. I personally had no problems with my school at all, but I have heard stories.
Each school is different, so you'll want to ask them upfront if you are only going to be teaching at that one school, or if the school will ask you to teach at other schools in the city as well. I found emw to be very honest and forthcoming, you just need to ask the questions.
One bad thing is location, they don't have partner schools in the best places, so if that is important you should be aware of it.
I no longer work overseas so I don't know how things are now, but I would probably check with emw if I ever decided to go back. |
