|
|
I have been working in the Middle East for the past seven years and I'm currently looking for a change of scenery this summer.
I'm interested in finding a summer teaching program (July/August) that includes accommodation and perhaps is offered by a university or post-secondary institution.
The only program I have been able to find is: http://careers.tesol.org/jobs/#/detail/6008737/1,false
However, interviews will be in Portland and so I won't be able to make it.
I have a BA, MEd (TESOL), CELTA, and ten years post-secondary teaching experience. |

I don't think short-term, summer-only positions are common in Japan. I think most universities would just hire their current English adjuncts to teach the courses, rather than pay to bring someone over. I've heard of this type of thing more in China.
One thing you might want to look into is Westgate Corp. They are a contractor who supplies EFL teachers to universities, mostly for non-credit, extracurricular classes. Contracts are usually for about 3 months, if I remember correctly, and include housing and visa. |
