|
|
Has anyone here done a DELTA whilst in Japan? Im just working out the logistics of it and this is what I have so far
- All the theory can be studied online and the coursework completed at home
- Cambridge test centres in Kansai and Kyushu so the chance of doing the exam there
- No chance of doing the practical part! So for that Id have to cough up for a jaunt to Hong Kong
Has anyone done the Delta here? |

When I worked at Shane a few years ago, they had their staff doing the Trinity DipTESOL. If my understanding is correct, this is exactly equivalent to a DELTA. |

Hi RM1983,
Module 2 is the practical (i.e. teaching) component and even this can be done as a blended (online & face-2-face) module. You just need a to find a local tutor. So, I'd be very surprised if there is nowhere in all of Japan to do module 2.
Yes, the other modules (1 and 3) can be done entirely online. It's worth noting that module 2 is more work than these other two combined. |

Ah right now that is very interesting. I'll have to have a look into it.
Thank you |

The British Council used to offer the chance to do the DELTA for its own teachers, but I don't know if that is still the case. |
