I've received an offer letter from Ray Education International to teach in an A Level program in Biology/Chemistry to 16-18 year olds at their Guangzhou center.

Has anyone heard of this employer and if so what do you think? How is Guangzhou for expats?

They are offering what seems to be a lucrative remuneration package (15k /month for 15 class periods /wk), 1k allowance for phone/commuting/catering, on campus housing, meals on campus, etc.). They surprised me during my interview when they asked about expected salary and 15k is what popped out of my mouth. I didn't want to jeopardize my chances by asking for their maximum amount (20k), especially until I can prove myself. I will also get 150 per extra class period for over 15 hrs.

Also, random China question: I've read on other websites that it's difficult to get to Western websites and the internet is super slow. Is this true? I will need to do internet searches for class and for personal use.
