I checked out the list in the sticky but it appears the geocities site is defunct. It also goes back to 2006, so it's probably pretty irrelevant nowadays.
Is there an Istanbul yellow pages or something?

There are so many English schools in Istanbul. You should probably narrow down your search to a specific part of Istanbul, i.e. do you want to teach in Taksim, somewhere further from the center of town, somewhere on the Asian side, etc. It'd also be helpful to know if you want to teach at a normal ESL institute with all ages, or corporate ESL, exclusively young learners, or something else. Serious Teachers and TEFL.com both advertise tons of Istanbul schools. I probably see more postings for Istanbul from those 2 websites than just about any other place (aside from the UK and China on TEFL.com). and there are others that can be found with a quick google search. Sorry I can't be of more help. Don't know of any lists.

Thanks everso for the prompt response.
I'm only interested in corporate teaching. Where, is not that significant as business usually means a lot of travelling anyway. Do people live in the main business districts here?
I only arrived on Wednesday so I don't even know where they are at the moment

There are a lot of business areas, but the main ones could be Levent, Maslak and out towards Gebze on the Asian side. Some people live in the business districts but not many.
