Hi,
I"ve tried doing a search on here but have found very little to working/living in Soyo in Angola.
I would appreciate if any current/past residents of that locale chiming in to let me what it would be like to live and work there.
The prospective employer is building a new training centre/camp in the area.
How are services such as mobile phone coverage, internet availability, etc?
How big an issue is malaria? Snakes (uggh)?
Most importantly, how receptive are the local people to being trained? I'm really hoping to find some students who WANT to learn, after having been in a place where just trying to get them to come to work is like pulling teeth.
Thank you in advance.

Hi, thanks for that. I hadn't and have now done so.
Unfortunately, there's not much of use there.
I was really hoping for some on-the-ground, first-hand perspectives from past/current people there.
