Does anyone have any recommendations of websites good for pronunciation practice for students? I know there are lots but any you think are particularly good for self study?
Thanks! |

I don't know about websites but there are a few good apps for self study.
MacMillan and the British Council have the best ones. |

I've been recommended to check out EnglishCentral with a free trial from someone who now works with them and whom I have a lot of respect for in ELT. Their team has impressive auto speech recog credentials (Nuance, Dragon Naturally Speaking) but the question is, do they know anything about ELL. The only pronunciation software I've trialed (not free) compared my voice (not my pronunciation) to a recorded native speaker and gave me, a native speaker, a low score on pronunciation! |
