Hey peeps,
I'm fairly sure the answer will be no but thought it might be worth checking anyway - I have completed a 4 year electrical trade diploma in Australia and previously attended uni for a year before jumping ship for said trade. Any chance it will slip through the 'cracks' as a valid degree to teach in China/elsewhere after I complete a Tefl or celta course?
Thanks in advance,
Luke |

No, it won't qualify as a bona fide, 4-year university degree for those employers and/or visa regulations that require one. You're limited as to where in the world you can work without a BA. |

Check if you can get some transferred credit for the diploma and the year you did to count towards a degree and how long it would take to top it up to a full degree. |

As others have said, it won't count as a BA. BUT, if you are interested in China, you might want to ask on the China board -- I've heard that "laws" can be more "flexible" in some places in China. |
