I've gotten something notarized but never apostilled and am wondering how it works with a background check.
I have one that I got last fall (2013) and would like to use for another job, if possible. I submitted my fingerprints and paid for an FBI check through a company. What I got back was an email stating that my check was clear. It is a 13 page document in .pdf form. Would I print out the whole thing and take it to a notary? How is the notary sure that it is real if I am just printing something out? |

You need to confirm whether the background check is still useable for the job you're applying for. Not sure where you're headed but here in China only CBC's less than 6 months old are accepted. |

Thanks. I looked at it and found out it was actually from 2012, not 2013, so it isn't usuable anyway. Darn. I was looking into a summer camp in Asia, so no time to wait for another check. |
