I have an English copy of a one year work contract with a new employer and of course my gaijin card.

Do I need anything else in terms of documents to get my new work visa or can I just go to the immigration office with these docs?

Are there any fees that I'll have to pay?

Well what is it? 4,000 yen? Can't remember.
Can you get a translated version into Japanese?
That would make it easier at immigration.

I think you're right. It's in that neighborhood (4000 yen).

As for the translated contract, I'll contact my boss and probably be able to get one at the office.
